Congratulations to the following students from Massachusetts who received recognition at the MTNA Division Competition which took place in Ithaca, N.Y in early January 2010.  Winners will compete at the National level.

Anna Larsen received an Honorable Mention in Elementary Composition.

*Eleanor Bragg was declared a winner in Junior Composition.*

Hikary Yonezaki was declared an Alternate Winner in Junior String for
the violin.

*Eric Lu was declared a Winner in Junior Piano Performance*

*Madeleine Tucker was declared a winner in Senior Strings on the cello.*

Kenric Tam was declared an Alternate Winner in Young Artist Piano

MTNA State Performance and Composition Competition Results

 

The MTNA State Performance Competition was held on November 21st at Brandeis University.  The winners and State Representatives of the piano and string competitions will compete at the Division level, which will be held at Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. on January 8-9, 2010.
