2020 Judged Festival Announcement!

The 2020 Judged Festival event details are now live on our website! To view all event details, please visit the MMTA website. This year, we have a new location, new month, and more students!


When is Judged Festival?

Sunday, May 3, 2020


Where will it be held?

This year we will be at a NEW LOCATION! Salem State University, Central Campus, 71 Loring Avenue, Salem, MA 01970.


Who can participate?

  • All current MMTA members (except student members) may register piano students to participate.

  • Non-members must pay a $70 non-member fee.

  • To avoid the fee, MMTA/MTNA membership must be completed by January 31, 2020.

  • NEW! Registration is limited to a maximum of 12 students per teacher. Teachers may register less than 12 students, but not more than 12.


How do I register students?

  • Registrations will be accepted ONLINE only at mmta.net.

  • Registration will be open from February 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020. No registrations will be accepted after March 31, 2020.


What is the required repertoire?

  • The repertoire theme for the 2020 Judged Festival is NATURE.

  • Teachers may view the Required Repertoire List here.
